Carol A. Loeffler, PhD is a clinical psychologist in Manchester, Vermont. She has been a private practitioner for over 25 years. Her practice has included serving as the staff psychologist for 20 years at numerous skilled nursing and long term care facilities focusing on dementia and behavioral health. For the last two years she has worked as a primary clinician at a private residential program for young adults with failure to launch, personality disorders, depression, anxiety and Bipolar Disorder. Her research and focus for many years was on trauma with an emphasis on sexual abuse. She continues to work with individuals with trauma and PTSD as well as those with depression and anxiety. She uses an eclectic approach utilizing insight oriented therapy as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in an effort to meet each of her client’s needs in a personal and professional manner. She sees adults of all ages as well as couples. She is currently accepting new clients and has evening appointments.
